Therapy for high-achieving adults navigating neurodivergence, trauma, and identity within systems that weren’t built for them.

I am a Black, neurodivergent, queer psychologist who has spent the last decade helping people understand themselves without pathologizing the important ways they have adapted to survive. Many neurodivergent, LGBTQ+ and BIPOC adults are tired of being asked to fit themselves into systems that weren’t designed for them. The constant masking, code-switching, and adapting to unaccommodating environments is emotionally and physically taxing. When my clients start working with me, they are often burned out and struggling with their capacity. They often come to therapy feeling anxious, depleted, and frustrated that they have to work so hard just to maintain the bare minimum.

In therapy, I create a space where you don't have to perform, mask, or explain away who you are. I offer treatment approaches backed by rigorous research and adapt them to your unique needs and context. I am genuine, direct, warm, and inquisitive. I ask questions that make you think and help you make connections you may not have noticed before.

My approach draws from evidence-based treatments including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and cognitive processing therapy (CPT) for PTSD. I adapt these approaches to be affirming of your identities and respectful of the context in which your difficulties developed.

You don't need a mental health diagnosis to benefit from therapy. I also work with people who are struggling with burnout, emotional sensitivity, identity, relationships, or simply feeling like the way they've been living isn't sustainable anymore.

My personal and professional experiences allow me to meet my clients with a unique combination of clinical precision, cultural humility, and genuine understanding. My goal is not simply to help you cope, but to help you build sustainable ways of living, working, and relating that honor who you are and don’t require you to sacrifice authenticity.

I also offer consultation and supervision to licensed and pre-licensed therapists.
